Some of the finest chefs of France have come from this region, and the kitchens of Provence are legendary the world over. Our teaching chef has a passion for regional produce. The market stalls of this sun-drenched area of Provence offer some of the finest selections of seasonal fruit and vegetables in the Mediterranean. This is the rich palate and foundation for our cooking courses.
Théoule-sur-Mer, known as ‘the writers' village’, has been a source of inspiration and creativity for countless artists, writers and chefs. A combination of hands-on cooking classes and demonstrations held in our own well-equipped kitchen will give you the opportunity to create your own culinary masterpieces during your cookery holiday and when you return home.
Our Luxury Villa
The Mas features six guest bedrooms all with top quality double beds, bathrooms en-suite and individually controlled electric heat and air conditioning. The three principal bedrooms have stunning sea views and French doors leading out to the terrace. Each en-suite bathroom has colourful hand-painted tiles, double basins with marble top and a separate bath and shower. The three upper bedrooms in our villa are accessed by separate entrances, each bedroom having an en-suite bathroom and shower. Both of the bathrooms in these rooms also have beautifully hand painted tiles and marble basin tops.
The living room is spacious and light and leads out on to a vast upper terrace. The terrace has its own covered seating area and panoramic views of the sea. As you sit back and relax on the terrace you can enjoy the spectacular view of the Bay of Cannes. The living room has its own stereo, CD player, Cable TV and DVD player and contains a collection of fine art by Parisian artist, Pierre de Mougins. The dining room seats 12 and is warm and inviting, it is decorated in a Provençal style with local pottery and antique buffet. There is also a dining area outside, the large terrace table also seating 12 with the added bonus of fantastic views over the Mediterranean and the Bay of Cannes.
This luxury villa has a beautifully designed swimming pool. The pool is tiled with antique Italian marble and has a connecting Jacuzzi. The pool has an saltwater treatment system that eliminates the need for chlorine and provides for clearer water. The pool can be heated and has a shallow end for children. An elegant terracotta terrace and a beautiful garden of olive trees, clematis, jasmine, lavender and herbs surround the pool. Teak furniture decorates the terrace with the dining table, lounge chairs and several seating areas.
